Full-Thickness Skin Grafting for Ulna Styloid Fracture with Skin Loss - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This illustration depicts the surgical management of skin loss over an ulna styloid fracture using a full-thickness skin graft. The pre-operative condition shows exposed bone and tissue over the fracture site. In step A, the wound is debrided and irrigated to remove debris and prepare for grafting. Step B shows the harvesting of a full-thickness skin graft from the volar (palm) side of the wrist. In step C, the harvested skin graft is positioned over the wound and sutured into place to cover the defect and promote healing.
