Failed Hip Fixation with Additional Surgical Repairs This exhibit will feature two large skeletal views of the left hip region comparing the condition before and after the surgical fixation procedure. The first image will clearly reveals the displaced and collapsed fracture site with extension of the fracture up into the femoral neck. The second image shows that the initial fixation hardware has been removed and replaced by more extensive new hardware. These images will be based on the actual x-rays from this case and inset views of the actual x-rays will be included beside each image.
