Skin Grafting of Right Thigh Wound - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit features multiple steps of the skin grafting procedure, including the removal of fascia from the exposed muscle to prep for skin grafting, harvesting of skin graft from the anterior right thigh, meshing of the harvested skin graft, placement and suturing of the meshed skin graft, and placement of the wound VAC. Actual incision sites, instrumentation and operative techniques are recreated with attention to precise details from the particular procedure and surgeon. The exhibit is both educational in its clarification of the operative details, as well as dramatic in its presentation of the appearance of the operative field.
