The rotator cuff is shown ghosted beneath skin revealing a tear of the anterior inferior labrum, subacromial impinement, fraying of the coracoacrominal ligament and instability of the glenohumeral joint.rnrnThe key steps of the arthroscopic capsulolabral reconstruction are illustrated in graphic detail. The first image provides an overview of the surgical field featuring a figure in a lateral decubitus position with the arthroscopic instruments inserted into the joint space.rnrnThe next five steps depict as a lateral view of the glenoid labrum as seen through an arthroscopic scope. The first image depicts the posterior band of the glenohumeral ligment being abraded with a rasp. The next shows the reconstruction of the posterior capsule with the placement of figure eight sutures. The third features the debridement of the tear Bankhart lesion from the anterior glenoid rim. The fourth image shows the placement of three anchor sutures in the anterior glenoid rim. The final image reveals the resection of the anterior burr on the acromion.rn
